We service Grey, Grey Highlands, Simcoe & Dufferin County. Our team of experienced cleaners are reliable, efficient, and thorough, ensuring that your home is always sparkling clean. We are insured and have vulnerable sector checks done. From re-occurring cleaning (custom to your needs), deep cleans, one-time cleans, move-in/move-out cleans to cottage/rental/airBnB and more, we offer a wide range of services to meet your specific needs.

The Good Clean was founded by me, Izabela Busby, as a way to merge my love for the environment and my dedication to my family. With a background in design and a knack for finding beauty in the everyday, I’ve built The Good Clean into a thriving business rooted in sustainability and care. Hi there! I’m Iza, the heart behind The Good Clean. I’m a passionate advocate for sustainability, community, and making life a little greener for everyone. Our story is deeply rooted in the beauty and spirit of Grey County, where I live with my husband, our three kids, two lovable dogs, a flock of happy chickens, and a wild, untamed garden that brings us endless joy.

THE IDEA & ADVENTURE

My journey began with a deep love for nature and creativity. With a background in design and a knack for finding beauty in the everyday, I’ve always believed in building things—whether it’s a home, a business, or a better way of living. My husband and I built our dream home here in Grey County, surrounded by rolling hills, mossy rocks, and sparkling lake waters. This place is our forever home, and I’m committed to preserving it for future generations.

But like so many, we faced challenges. As the economy shifted, fewer people were investing in design and new builds, which meant I needed to pivot. With three kids (one still too young for school), limited daycare options, and the daily juggle of parenting, I needed a way to support my family that worked around our chaotic schedules. That’s when The Good Clean was born—literally overnight—on October 1, 2023.

SUSTAINABILITY MATTERS

What started as a necessity quickly turned into a thriving business. By winter, it was clear that our community cared deeply about the environment and their health. Word spread quickly, and we were even honored to clean The Bird’s Papaya’s Pink Cottage! It was proof that people valued our mission to provide high-quality, eco-friendly cleaning services that don’t compromise on health or sustainability.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Today, The Good Clean is more than just a cleaning business. We’re proud members of the South Grey Chamber of Commerce and firm believers in “Community Over Competition.” We work with local refill stores, support each other as small businesses, and participate in community events to spread awareness about living sustainably. I’m passionate about making education and eco-friendly practices accessible to all because everyone deserves to live a healthier, greener life.

The Good Clean is my way of giving back to a community that means so much to me. It’s a labor of love, a commitment to my family, and a step toward a brighter future for all of us. Together, let’s keep being green heroes and take care of this incredible planet we call home!
